Find Working Families on your ballot
When you go to the polls, look a little farther down your ballot, and you'll see a new party that really stands up for working and middle class families: Working Families Party.
We're the independent party that will put up a fight for the bread and butter issues that really matter to working and middle class families: affordable healthcare, decent paying jobs, fair taxes, and quality public schools.
Every election year, our members research all the candidates, Democrats, Republicans and Independents alike, and figure out which candidates really stand up for our values, and who is just making election year promises.

We don't usually run our own candidates. More often, we support a major party candidate who has pledged to support those issues that are most critical for our state's hard-hit working and middle class families. (Read more on cross-endorsement.)
When you vote for a Democrat or a Republican on the Working Families line, your vote counts just the same for the candidates -- but it also sends all politicians a powerful message that working class and middle class families in Connecticut won't be ignored any longer.
When you vote Working Families, you're voting your values. You're voting for politicians who have a history of fighting for affordable healthcare, for creating living wage jobs, not just minimum wage jobs, who want to cut taxes for middle class families, and not companies who outsource jobs, and who think every kid deserves a high quality school.
At the same time, you are also using your vote to send a message. Votes on the working families line tell the candidate that you support working and middle class values, and that when they're elected, it's time to fight for you for a change.
And it also gives us accountability. When a polician goes against their promise to vote to increase the minimum wage, to fight for affordable healthcare or to reduce energy rates, they know they'll lose our support the next time around.
Remember to vote Working Families. It's the way to tell politicians that it's time for an economy that works for all of us.
