Working Families is an independent political party that focuses on the bread and butter issues that matter most to working and middle class families. We fight to keep the quality of life high and our cost of living low.

Every year, Working Families members interview candidates for offices - Democrats, Republicans and Independents. They ask them the hard questions on jobs, schools, taxes, and healthcare. (Read more about our endorsement process.)

But Working Families only endorses the candidates who will truly stand up for our values.

When Working Families cross-endorses a major party candidate, that candidate appears on the ballot twice: once on the major party line, and once on the Working Families Party line.

When you vote for a candidate on the Working Families Party line, it counts as a vote to put your candidate into office -- and it also tells all politicians that you want them to fight harder for the issues that matter most to working class and middle class families.
