Working Families

The Working Families Party is Connecticut's fastest growing party. The Working Families Party was formed by a coalition of community organizations, labor unions, and neighborhood activists.

The goal of the Working Families Party is to fight for the issues that matter most to working families, like good jobs at living wages, access to healthcare, good schools, affordable housing, and clean, open government.

The Working Families Party is proud to endorse Luis Cotto, Urania Petit, and Dr. Larry Deutsch for Hartford City Council, because they will work hard for those issues, and for every working family in Hartford.

In 2005, the Working Families Party elected Sharon Patterson Stallings to the Hartford Board of Education. She has been an active and tireless advocate for better schools in Hartford.
